About the Role

As an Associate in PwC Canada's Tax practice, you will join a community of solvers tackling important problems. Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed analyses of financial statements for clients and comparables.
  • Assist in data collection from clients and publicly available information.
  • Draft deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations, memos, and detailed reports.
  • Stay updated with technology and suggest process improvements.
  • Conduct data research using public and firm-specific databases.
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the area of specialism.
  • Provide and receive constructive feedback in a timely manner.
  • Share and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Identify and suggest improvements for problems and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain internal and external networks.
  • Seek opportunities to learn about PwC's global network.
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Requirements

  • Business Administration, Finance, or Economics related degrees are required; a graduate degree is an asset.
  • Interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, with an openness to learning new tools and adapting work methods.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working with diverse people and perspectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas.
  • Ability to manipulate public databases and PwC proprietary benchmarking tools.
  • Robust skills using software applications including Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.
  • Conscientious, self-motivated, and able to assume responsibility for project aspects within a team framework.
  • Ability to adapt easily and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities.
  • Bilingual in English and French is preferred but not required.
