About the Role

As a Co-op in PwC Canada's market-leading Deals practice, you will be part of a diverse, inclusive team that values your perspective and empowers you to make a real impact. Responsibilities

Develop consulting skills in a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced M&A team focused on helping create and capture value throughout an acquisition or a divestiture.
Help clients grow faster and work smarter, solving problems that matter and creating tangible value through M&A.
Work on projects including fully integrated due diligence, organization design, change management and culture, operational excellence, synergies, and helping clients integrate and separate businesses across all functions.
Develop business acumen, core consulting, project management, and coaching skills.
Develop consulting skills in HR, IT, Finance, Transaction Management, Corporate Development, AI, and Operations, aligning to a few core skills based on interest and business needs.
Gain knowledge and serve clients across industries and sectors including Financial Services, Energy, Utilities, Mining and Industrial Products, Technology, Communications, Retail & Consumer, and Private Equity.

Requirements

Enrolled in post-secondary education.
Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and communication skills.
Data and analytics literacy and AI fluency (including effective prompting) to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends.
Openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas.
Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to think broadly and ask questions about data, facts, and other information to deliver quality to clients.
Demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
Ability to build genuine relationships rooted in trust by sharing and collaborating effectively with others.
Ability to adapt easily while demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities.

Comfortable travelling to cities across Canada (when deemed safe).
