About the Role
The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the efficient receiving, storage, movement, and distribution of materials and products. This role provides day-to-day leadership to warehouse personnel, ensuring materials are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently to support production and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates leadership and organizational skills to run warehouse operations efficiently
- Monitors workplace performance and identifies training opportunities to elevate team
- Track warehouse metrics and provide weekly/monthly reports as required
- Ensures weekly cycle counts are accurate and reported to all stakeholders
- Schedules and conducts team meeting, analyzes productivity, and develops actionable plans to improve operations
- Maintains a staffing level to optimize operation efficiencies
- Conducts physical inventory analysis and reconciles gaps
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies
- Oversees rotations of inventories and material coordination to support assembly operations
- Ensures materials are stored correctly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
Requirements
- Minimum education level of High School, GED, or its equivalent
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Previous experience with Syteline or MIS platforms
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experiences
- Associates degree in related field
- 5+ years of warehouse supervisor experience preferred
