Responsibilities
- Manage all branch functions and new business development, including branch deposits, loans, and relationships.
- Achieve established goals through active participation in call programs and community events to increase visibility and business opportunities.
- Promote a sales and service culture and oversee the daily operation of a full-service branch, including operations, compliance, lending, product sales, member service, and security.
- Oversee all branch employees through effective management, coaching, scheduling, counseling, appraising, hiring, and termination.
- Delegate operations and provide backup as needed to the Assistant Branch Manager.
- Establish branch goals and performance measurements in cooperation with senior management.
- Analyze branch loan production, sales, and other data.
- Participate in the development of new credit union products and services.
- Prepare the branch budget.
- Keep branch staff informed of product, service, and process changes.
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings.
- Attend and participate in credit union days and community events.
- Provide backup to other departmental staff as necessary.
- Achieve a minimum of 'Satisfactory' rating on internal audits and examinations.
- Accomplish the credit union's mission by completing relevant duties as requested.
- Coordinate sales and service delivery with other areas of the organization.
- Facilitate superior and continuing customer sales and service.
- Increase branch membership, deposit base, and loan portfolio.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency certification.
- Three to five years of branch administration experience, with at least two years in a leadership role with demonstrated sales success.
- Business development experience is preferred.
- Notary Public certificate required or must be obtained.
- NMLS-ID required or must be obtained.
- Expertise in sales techniques, including cold calling.
- Proficient knowledge of loan application and approval processes.
- Advanced knowledge of credit union loan policies and relevant regulations (Truth in Lending, HMDA, ECOA, FCRA, UCC, HUD, RESPA, Fair Housing Act, FDCPA, NCUA regulations).
- Coaching and mentoring skills for Assistant Branch Manager and staff.
- Knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Demonstrated skill in interpreting and applying loan policies and objectives.

- Demonstrated skill in member/customer service.
- Demonstrated credit analysis skills.
