About the Role
ZS's Technology Solutions team leads end-to-end project responsibility across all phases, including discovery, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and operations. This team configures ZS's proprietary software to streamline business processes for commercial groups at client organizations, taking ownership of solution delivery, managing operations, client stakeholder management, business development, project planning, and team management.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team to design and implement technical solutions addressing client business problems.
- Take ownership of proposed design/architecture, deliverables, and project quality.
- Gain a deep understanding of business challenges and translate them into technical designs.
- Ensure technical designs are robust and scalable, consistent with ZS and industry practices.
- Lead one or more projects concurrently.
- Partner with Senior Leadership on project management responsibilities, including planning and staffing.
- Collaborate with global counterparts on planning, risk identification, and mitigation.
- Build relationships with client stakeholders and lead presentations.
- Collaborate with internal expertise teams to ensure best-in-class technology solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the team, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Assist Senior Leadership in developing points of view on new technology and problem-solving.
- Stay current on the latest technology and domain trends to drive innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or another computer-related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant consulting-industry experience working on medium-large scale technology solution delivery engagements.
- Strong experience leading delivery of one or multiple projects.
- Extensive experience in big data and cloud technologies.
- Fluency in English and Japanese.
- Client-first mentality.
- Collaborative spirit and problem-solving approach.
- Candidates must possess or be able to obtain work authorization for their intended country of employment.
Skills
- Strong client presence and ability to communicate technical concepts to all audiences.
- Significant supervisory, coaching, and hands-on project management skills.
- Ability to manage a virtual global team environment.
- Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting the interaction between databases, operating systems, and applications.
- Willingness to travel to other global offices as needed.
