About the Role

Gallagher Bassett (GB) is seeking a Fraud Specialist to join their Technical Operations team. This role provides technical support to Claims teams and involves managing a portfolio of fraud matters, reviewing fraudulent claims, and advising Case Managers. It's an opportunity to elevate case management experience and contribute to positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of fraud matters and the initial review and referral process
  • Undertake human reviews of newly identified fraudulent claims and activity
  • Initiating referrals to the Fraud Technical Specialist and Management
  • Provide advice to Case Managers around identification and processes
  • Supporting broader business and risk initiatives and projects

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in workers compensation case management
  • Interest in fraud management and prevention is a must
  • Strong attention to detail and analytic skills
  • A team player who enjoys collaboration with the ability to coach and mentor others
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of organisation
  • Must have the right to live and work in Australia
