About the Role

FSA Federal is seeking a Seized Property Technician (SPT) to support the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in removing the tools of crime from criminal organizations and impacting their infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Provides general property custodial assistance to government authorities, including receiving, ordering appraisals, disposing of property, and maintaining/conducting inventories.
  • Responsible for the storage of property and monitoring of property in storage.
  • Maintains all records, including financial records.
  • Prepares and arranges auctions as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three years' experience in supply technician or inventory management duties, or three years' asset forfeiture experience.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; oral and written.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications and databases.
  • Strong attention to detail; meticulous data entry skills.
  • Proven commitment and competence to provide excellent customer service; positive and flexible.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional disposition.
  • Requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Requires a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.
