About the Role
FSA Federal is seeking a Seized Property Technician (SPT) to support the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in removing the tools of crime from criminal organizations and impacting their infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provides general property custodial assistance to government authorities, including receiving, ordering appraisals, disposing of property, and maintaining/conducting inventories.
- Responsible for the storage of property and monitoring of property in storage.
- Maintains all records, including financial records.
- Prepares and arranges auctions as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years' experience in supply technician or inventory management duties, or three years' asset forfeiture experience.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills; oral and written.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications and databases.
- Strong attention to detail; meticulous data entry skills.
- Proven commitment and competence to provide excellent customer service; positive and flexible.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional disposition.
- Requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Requires a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.
