About the Role
As a Building Physicist (m/f/d), you will play a central role in the building physics development, evaluation, and optimization of our building system. You will ensure that building physics requirements are considered early on and implemented technically, economically, and in compliance with standards. You will work closely with construction, planning, production, and other specialist departments, actively contributing to the further development of system solutions, standards, and technical details.
Responsibilities
- Development and optimization of the building system in the area of thermal building physics
- Conducting and evaluating thermal, moisture, and hygrothermal analyses and simulations
- Development and evaluation of building physics construction details and component structures
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and legal requirements
- Technical consultation for planning, construction, and production on building physics issues
- Further development of standards, system solutions, and building physics concepts to improve energy efficiency
Requirements
- Completed degree in Building Physics, Civil Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Sound professional experience in the field of thermal building physics
- Very good knowledge of thermal insulation and moisture protection, as well as energy-efficient construction
- Confident use of relevant standards, guidelines, and building physics calculation and simulation methods
- Good knowledge of Hottgenroth, Psi-Therm, and WUFI
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with planning, construction, and production
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
- Professional experience in the development of building systems
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
