About the Role
The Content Creator captures and publishes video and static content to communicate RTW's value narrative and unique culture, elevating the visibility of RTW's leadership across the firm's owned and executive social channels. This role involves travel with senior leadership to domestic and international conferences and events.
Responsibilities
- Capture short-form video, static imagery, and event photography at conferences, investor engagements, office moments, and executive appearances.
- Travel with leadership as an embedded content producer, capturing content in real time and delivering platform-ready edits on tight turnarounds.
- Operate camera equipment, lighting, and audio tools in non-studio field conditions.
- Edit video content using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent tools independently.
- Serve as an internal authority on social platform performance, proactively surfacing trend and format opportunities.
- Monitor peer firms, portfolio companies, and life sciences thought leaders on social media.
- Capture and produce content reflecting the leadership team’s public presence, intellectual authority, and personal voice.
- Support social video asset production for paid campaigns, coordinating with the Digital Media Manager.
- Additional tasks may be assigned as required.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience producing short-form social video and static content professionally.
- Portfolio showing platform-native work across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Deep, current knowledge of social media content formats, platform algorithms, and engagement drivers.
- Hands-on proficiency with mobile and camera-based video capture, field audio, and lighting in non-studio environments.
- Proficiency with short-form video editing tools (CapCut or equivalent).
- Photography skills; strong visual and creative instincts.
- Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for social asset production.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust with senior executives, external guests, and event staff.
- Highly organized and self-directed, with a collaborative working style.
- Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback in a fast-moving editorial environment.
- Experience producing content in life sciences, healthcare, biotech, or financial services environments is a plus.
- Experience as an embedded content producer for a public-facing executive or leadership team is a plus.
- Must be able to travel domestically with occasional international travel.
- Must be able to work from RTW's New York City office four to five days per week when not traveling.
