About the Role

We are seeking individuals who have consciously chosen the pedagogical profession and wish to combine their part-time training with practical experience in our Kita team. The Kita Drachen Kids offers a familiar environment with space for development, fun, and community, focusing on specific pedagogical areas.

Responsibilities

• Co-creation of the daily routine and individual support for children based on the Berlin Education Program.
• Participation in the further development of organizational and pedagogical structures and the concept.
• Cooperative collaboration with children, colleagues, families, and the sponsoring organization.
• Planning, implementation, and reflection of pedagogical work using the BeoKiz method.

Requirements

• Valid enrollment or admission to a recognized college or university for social pedagogy as part of a part-time retraining program for state recognition as a pedagogical specialist.
• Organizational skills, strong communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Good self-reflection and conflict resolution skills.
• A relationship-oriented and appreciative attitude towards children and families.
• Creativity and passion for the work as a kindergarten teacher.
• The employment relationship is initially limited to 12 months and for the duration of the part-time training, dependent on the successful continuation of the training.
• Required proof of ongoing training must be submitted regularly.
• An extended police clearance certificate without entries must be presented.

Salary/Compensations

• €2,950.96 to €3,105.60 gross per month for 39.4 hours per week, prorated based on agreed hours.

About the Company

• Kita Drachen Kids is located in green Hellersdorf, directly at the Cottbusser Platz subway station. We care for up to 85 children (under and over 3 years old) in bright, lovingly designed rooms. Our facilities include a versatile movement room, a garden, and a children's kitchen. We emphasize individual, relationship-based child support and work with a semi-open concept based on the situational approach.
