About the Role

As a SAP Manager in the Energy Industry, you will advise clients on preparing and executing complex SAP transformations, contributing to successful optimizations and seamless SAP implementation. You will develop customized solutions for clients in the energy sector, focusing on current challenges in SAP S/4HANA, IT architecture, and cloud components. You will also be involved in planning, conception, implementation, and rollout of SAP S/4HANA Utilities, developing innovative strategies and solutions. You will lead teams within SAP transformation projects and structure, process, and prepare complex issues and decision papers. Additionally, you will acquire new projects and independently create complex offers in the Utilities environment.

Responsibilities

Conceive customized solutions for clients in the energy sector regarding SAP S/4HANA, IT architecture, and cloud components.
Plan, conceptualize, implement, and roll out SAP S/4HANA Utilities.
Develop innovative strategies and solutions.
Holistically lead one or more teams within SAP transformation projects.
Structure, process, and prepare complex issues and decision papers.
Acquire new projects and independently create complex offers in the Utilities environment.

Requirements

Degree in economics, business informatics, business administration, natural sciences, engineering, or equivalent.
Many years of experience in SAP consulting or a consulting-related function with a focus on SAP Utilities areas (billing, customer service, or device management & metering), especially with SAP customizing.
Sound knowledge of the energy and utility industry and its regulatory requirements in the market roles LIEF and/or VNB/MSB, as well as understanding of the entire process landscape and business contexts.
Enjoyment of complex tasks, strong team spirit, and high communication and presentation skills.
Ability to establish AI-supported working methods in projects and teams, empower employees, and sustainably increase quality, efficiency, and customer benefit through targeted AI use.
