About the Role
We are seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our team, focusing on financial analysis and modeling for diverse clients. This role involves advising on projects related to property, regeneration, investment, and green finance.
Responsibilities
- Perform robust analysis and financial modeling for various projects.
- Support strategic decision-making for projects including property and housing development, regeneration schemes, asset strategy, investment, and procurement.
- Conduct development appraisals for property projects.
- Advise clients on project impacts and provide strategy recommendations.
- Develop business plans, HMT Green Book business cases, and options appraisals.
- Create strategies for securing investment through public-private partnerships, joint ventures, and trading companies.
- Provide specialist analysis and modeling expertise to support wider projects and teams.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, adapting style to different audiences.
- Deliver high-quality client work, including analysis, insights, and well-structured reports.
- Take ownership of tasks, meet deadlines, and proactively manage risks.
- Develop an understanding of the sector, market, and commercial context of public sector consulting.
- Contribute to business development, including supporting proposals, case studies, and client relationships.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in consulting or a similar client-facing role.
- Advanced Excel skills, ideally with financial modeling experience.
- Understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience in analyzing data.
- Ability to work flexibly to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate complex issues.
- Analytical, systematic, and logical thinking skills to break down complex information.
