About the Role

At Delaware Valley Job Corps, transportation is about more than getting from point A to point B. We provide young adults ages 16–24 with the support, structure, and opportunities they need to build successful futures. As a Driver, you'll help keep students moving safely while also supporting the day-to-day operation and upkeep of our Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation for students
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report safety concerns
• Maintain required vehicle documentation
• Schedule vehicles for preventative maintenance and repairs
• Assist with maintenance and inspections of Center facilities and systems
• Track and document completed work and report issues to your supervisor
• Assist other departments as needed
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment for students and staff
• Model professionalism, accountability, and positive behavior for students

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid in-State Driver's License required
• Must meet Company insurability requirements
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, reaching, lifting, pushing/pulling, stooping, and crouching
