About the Role

A returning BAHS client in Tribeca/Battery Park is seeking an experienced Nanny / Mother’s Helper / Housekeeper to join their warm, young family with three young children and a Golden Retriever. The role involves working collaboratively with a stay-at-home parent to manage children's needs and household upkeep, requiring flexibility and a genuine enjoyment of both childcare and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on childcare and support daily needs of three young children.
• Engage children in active, age-appropriate play and activities.
• Assist with children's meals, routines, and personal care.
• Keep children's areas tidy, organized, and manage children's laundry.
• Provide general housekeeping and upkeep of the family home.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organize bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces.
• Complete family laundry, change bed linens, and organize household storage.
• Tidy rooms, monitor household supplies, and assist with errands.
• Be willing to shift between childcare and household responsibilities based on daily needs.
• Assist with general pet-related household upkeep.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional nanny, housekeeping, or private household experience.
• Experience caring for multiple young children.
• Strong hands-on housekeeping and laundry skills.
• Warm, calm, flexible, and proactive demeanor.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with a hands-on stay-at-home parent.
• Physically able to keep up with young children, including running and occasional lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, communicative, and seeking a long-term position.
• Comfortable around dogs.
• CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to obtain certification.
• Non-smoker.
• Strong, recent professional references from private household positions.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Able to perform physical requirements including frequent movement, getting up and down from the floor, active play, and navigating outdoor spaces.
