About the Role

Partner and collaborate with Client Clinical Research Physicians and Scientists to develop medical content aligned with brand strategy and medical communications plans. This includes creating various materials such as manuscript slide sets, competitive intelligence slide sets, MSL slide decks, disease state education decks, standard response questionnaires, CFAQ documents, and educational materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop medical content aligned with brand strategy and medical communications plans.
  • Interpret and analyze complex data, research findings, and scientific information to create clear, concise, and accurate tactics for different audiences and channels.
  • Attend kick-off calls with advance preparedness, communicate meeting minutes and timelines clearly to Project Owners.
  • Provide explicit guidance and set clear expectations for editors, graphic designers, PMC, and MCA teams, addressing their comments and concerns promptly.
  • Ensure delivery of quality content with appropriate reference citations and style guide alignment.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects and proactively communicate changes or expectations to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain familiarity with tools, software, and processes utilized throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Be open-minded and adaptable to changes in tools, software, and processes, adjusting writing practices as needed.
  • Mentor team members and facilitate their quick onboarding process.

Requirements

  • Publication writing experience with multiple articles authored and published through reputed journals.
  • Content strategy and execution.
  • Therapy area expertise.
  • Partnering with CRSs and CRPs and MSLs.
  • Training and mentoring junior writers.
  • Native Japanese candidates currently residing and authorized to work in Japan are preferred.
