About the Role
As part of the Product Development & Engineering team, you will contribute to innovative projects that support the development of next-generation energy, charging, battery, and connected power technologies. Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you will apply your academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges in areas such as firmware development and power electronics. The primary purpose of this internship is educational, providing practical experience in software/firmware development, energy systems, or power electronics under the supervision of an engineering mentor.
Responsibilities
- Perform research and evaluate new technologies to improve product performance and reliability.
- Document designs, specifications, and test results.
- Write, test and refactor code in languages such as C/C++, or Python for embedded processors.
Requirements
- Students currently pursuing a HAVO / Bachelor’s or Master degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering (ICT) or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with source control system (like Git)
- Basic knowledge in embedded systems (device design and optimization techniques)
- Familiar with development methodologies
