About the Role

Regeneron's Finance Operations Team is seeking an energetic Finance Operations Analyst to assist with day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives for the Accounting departments. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes, involving data gathering, analysis, and project support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ad hoc requests related to reporting and data analysis to assist team members, management, and audit requests.
  • Support the analysis and implementation of accounting operation functions relating to new technology projects.
  • Prepare documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for processes, enhancements, and projects.
  • Prepare various schedules impacting the month-end close and reporting.
  • Assist team with the execution of test scripts for various projects.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of technical accounting standards under US GAAP and its application.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, data analysis and/or finance operations.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft applications, especially Excel formulas and pivots.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Hubble, Qlik.
  • Proactive and analytical problem solver with the ability to think outside of the box.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
