About the Role
This role leads UX for HelloFresh's Operations organization, bridging technology with physical fulfillment, procurement, quality assurance, and supply chain. The position involves continuing the shift from reactive delivery to a high-leverage, AI-native strategic partner, building upon an existing internal design platform integrated with AI tooling. Key responsibilities include driving algorithmic menu planning and supply chain decision-making technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX strategy and quality across menu planning, food systems, fulfillment, and the internal operations-research platform.
- Drive the build-out of an AI-native design practice, extending the design system into AI-assisted workflows.
- Provide service design for internal-facing tools used by operators, planners, and analysts.
- Manage talent for a distributed team, including hiring, career development, and setting design quality standards.
- Participate in Operations leadership meetings, partnering with senior Product and Engineering leaders and representing UX interests in company-wide strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years in UX/product design, with several years leading design for complex, operational, or B2B/enterprise-grade systems.
- Proven track record of shifting a design function from reactive delivery to a strategic, AI-native practice.
- Experience redesigning team workflows due to AI tools.
- Experience building or scaling design systems/platforms adopted by other teams.
- Comfort operating at the intersection of design, product, and engineering.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with senior product, engineering, and executive leadership.
- Comfort with ambiguity and internal-facing domains, focusing on high-impact problems for operators and planners.
