About the Role
The London Borough of Waltham Forest is seeking a leader to manage the internal Oracle Support Team, oversee supplier relationships, and ensure the timely resolution of defects and progression of change requests. This role involves chairing the Oracle Change Advisory Board, managing budgets, acting as the main contact for internal stakeholders, and ensuring controls and governance are in place. The position also supports the Council in identifying cost-saving changes.
Responsibilities
- Manage internal Oracle Support Team
- Responsible for the integrity of Oracle System
- Responsible for the timely resolution of Oracle System defects
- Lead on identifying System enhancements that will benefit LBWF, providing efficiencies
- Co-ordination, progression and delivery of approved change requests
- Manage Oracle Change Advisory Board
- Report to Oracle Governance Board
- Supplier Contract Management
- Budget Management
Requirements
- 5 years minimum Experience of supporting Oracle Fusion, this includes HCM, ERP, Talent, Learn, Projects, Risk Management and EPM
- Knowledge of ITIL framework
- Strong experience working across digital products, services, and technology teams to deliver user-focused outcomes.
- Satisfactory employment references and CIFAS identity checks
- Satisfactory declaration of interest
- Ability to speak fluent English with confidence and accuracy, sufficient for the effective performance of their role.
