About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a team of experienced analysts in creating engaging management information (MI) that tells the story of the business. You will partner with other Analytics Managers to shape functional domains and provide thought leadership on designing MI that reduces the time teams spend finding information and maximizes their decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

Consume performance data to create narratives for partner functions, aiding stakeholders in understanding current performance.
Connect current performance to longer-term trends and resolve data discrepancies.
Understand customer expectations through research and feedback to inform and influence priorities.
Balance customer value with customer experience.
Partner with functions to create 'playbooks' for understanding key KPIs, display, access, and interpretation.
Educate teams on extracting the best from existing MI.
Identify opportunities to reduce the cost of data consumption.
Maintain the current state of MI systems and their connection to the enterprise level.
Collaborate with top leadership to shape domains from a data perspective and bring thought leadership.
Contribute to and challenge business priorities using data-driven opinions.
Create and share roadmaps for new MI reporting and dashboard design and delivery.
Connect partner function MI within the end-to-end view to show cause and effect.
Measure the impact of work and that of others.
Ensure flawless quality for customer-facing outputs.
Support team development through dedicated frameworks, development plans, and career guidance.
Encourage and value team input, developing individual talent and leading/motivating the team.
Contribute to OVO's wider strategy, ensuring data drives big decisions and maximizes opportunities.

Requirements

1-3 years in a similar role.
Broad experience of team working and cross-functional engagement.
Comfortable leading a team of senior analysts to drive change through MI.
Passionate about partnering with senior leaders to drive better decisions.
Values and promotes the benefit of best-in-practice data quality.
Able to lead prioritization calls with senior operations leaders.
Competent in tuning SQL queries and understanding error handling techniques.
Able to produce best-in-class visualizations that tell a clear story.
