About the Role
Change Grow Live (CGL) Bromley Drug & Alcohol Services seeks enthusiastic volunteers to support individuals on their recovery journey. This role involves assisting with triage assessments and providing accurate information to clients over 18. Volunteers are integral to our mission, contributing diverse skills and expertise to enhance service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in completing triage assessments for individuals beginning their recovery journey.
- Provide accurate information to service users.
- Undertake various duties that enhance or support the delivery of the service.
- Assist service users to fulfill a recovery-focused journey.
- Help service users access a range of services identified through individual recovery plans.
- Represent, assist, and support the project in the delivery of the services it provides.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Able to commit to 1-3 days per week.
- Able to commit to staying as a volunteer for up to one year.
- Kind, open-minded, and passionate about supporting people.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice.
