About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Physiotherapy team at The Shard, part of London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. The Shard Outpatients, our largest outpatient facility, delivers specialist diagnostic and treatment services across a broad range of specialties including Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Neurology, Pain Management, Women's Health and Physiotherapy.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership across Physiotherapy and Hand Therapy services.
- Maintain a highly specialised clinical caseload within your area of expertise.
- Help drive clinical excellence, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Deputise for the Outpatient Physiotherapy Lead in their absence.
- Support and develop colleagues through clinical supervision, mentoring, and education.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based care across a broad range of outpatient specialities.
- Lead on clinical governance activities including audit, outcome measurement, and service improvement projects.
- Build strong relationships with consultants, referrers, and key stakeholders.
- Manage a highly specialised caseload, using advanced clinical reasoning skills to assess, diagnose, and treat complex patients.
- Provide clinical experience and support across MSK, Neuro & Oncology as required.
Requirements
- Relevant Physiotherapy Degree
- HCPC Registration
- Significant post graduate experience in area of specialism
- Experience in a clinical leadership position
- Relevant Clinical postgraduate qualification (or working towards)
