About the Role

The energy market is undergoing significant transformation, and RABOT is at the forefront, experiencing triple-digit growth. This role is crucial for navigating the complex legal landscape of dynamic tariffs, AI-driven energy management, and new business models, many of which lack established legal precedents. You will build and own compliance-relevant core business areas and contractual foundations for new business fields, reporting directly to the Head of Legal.

Responsibilities

Oversee and assess compliance-relevant core topics, including GDPR, AI Act, consumer law, and e-commerce.
Develop contractual foundations for new business fields, from standard templates to drafts for new business models.
Support product launches by addressing legal questions early in the development process.
Provide internal legal consultation to product, marketing, sales, and operations teams, offering actionable recommendations.
Ensure audit and due diligence readiness by maintaining documented, current, and accessible compliance information.

Requirements

Completed studies in business law or law with at least a first state examination.
Approximately 1-3 years of relevant experience from law firms, in-house legal departments, legal clerkships, or comparable positions.
Familiarity with data protection, consumer law, and e-commerce, with a willingness to engage with the AI Act.
Systematic and process-oriented approach to work, ensuring clarity and understandability of results.
Proactive ownership, driving initiatives independently and resolving open questions.
Tolerance for ambiguity, making reasoned decisions in the absence of established answers.
Strong communication skills, translating legal concepts into business-understandable recommendations.
Analytical ability to quickly grasp complex issues and distinguish essential information.
Regular presence in the Berlin office is required.
Fluent German and good English proficiency in speaking and writing.
