About the Role
As a Project Manager for the Battery Integrated Project Team (IPT) at STARK, you will drive critical power and battery development programs. You will lead cross-functional alignment of engineers, supply chain experts, and external partners to deliver mission-ready battery systems on time and on spec, bridging the gap between complex engineering, PMO standards, and strategic mission requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead Program Execution: End-to-end responsibility for Battery IPT workstreams, defining milestones, managing budgets, and ensuring technical requirements translate into operational reality.
- Matrix Leadership: Orchestrate collaboration between the Battery IPT, wider engineering teams, production, and the central PMO, ensuring alignment on the mission-critical path for battery systems.
- Stakeholder & Interface Management: Act as the key operational link between the Battery Team Lead and the Lead PMO, translating technical hurdles into actionable business decisions and ensuring transparent reporting.
- Advanced Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify and mitigate technical, certification, and logistical bottlenecks specific to battery development.
- Optimize the Playbook: Design and implement scalable PMO processes within the Battery IPT to support STARK's growth.
- Resource & Capacity Planning: Work closely with the Battery Team Lead to ensure optimal deployment of engineering talent.
- Integration (Month 0-2): Deep dive into STARK’s tech stack, PMO structures, and the Battery IPT; take over a significant sub-project.
- Delivery (Month 2-6): Own a major battery program milestone, driving the 'Definition of Ready' and ensuring gate passage with high-quality documentation.
- Project Mastery (Month 6-12): Take full operational ownership of the Battery IPT's project portfolio, lead mid-term planning, manage budgets, and ensure synchronization with platform roadmaps.
