About the Role
Artic Building Services Ltd is seeking an AC Engineer to perform maintenance and reactive tasks on client sites, liaise with clients, and provide technical support. The role requires a proactive and flexible individual with strong technical knowledge of various air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks to plant on client site
- Complete all relevant job tasks on PDA including Risk Assessments
- Provide Further works reports where required
- Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required
- Update contract managers with relevant client or site information
- Inform administrator of any site or plant changes / site plant asset management
- Collecting parts from supplier or head office where applicable
- Provide weekly timesheet to office on a Monday
- Fulfill legal duty to take reasonable care for health and safety of self and others
- Follow all health and safety guidance and instructions
Requirements
- Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess relevant AC and Refrigeration industry qualifications
- Up to date Safe Handling (2079)
- Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment
- A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry
- Proven technical knowledge of a wide spectrum of Air Conditioning systems and plant including VRF, VRVS, AHU’s, Cold-room's and Specialist Refrigeration
- Ability to develop and be part of a team
- Manage own time, works and paperwork
- Capable of building long term relationships with clients both of existing and prospective
- Positive attitude “can do will do”
- Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site
- Commercially astute, driven to identify and generate additional works / sales
- Provide technical support to administration staff as required
