About the Role
Supporting the Shift Manager, you'll help coordinate daily activities across a busy multi-temperature warehouse. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with people, taking ownership of operational performance and helping to create a positive, high-performing team environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Shift Manager in delivering a safe, efficient and productive warehouse operation
- Co-ordinate warehouse activities to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time
- Report any serious deviations from the plan quickly and accurately
- Monitor quality, health & safety and operational standards, escalating any issues when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a multi- temperature food warehouse environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A proactive approach, using initiative and remaining calm under pressure
