You will contribute to protecting physical, personnel, and digital assets by reviewing security outputs, assisting with audits, and triaging risks across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with initial incident triage by gathering evidence, collating documentation, and tracking remediation actions.
  • Conduct routine technical compliance checks against security baselines, support user access reviews, and audit asset inventories.
  • Gather technical evidence, coordinate logistics, and maintain documentation for internal/external technical audits and security inspections.
  • Maintain security dashboards, track risk registers, and produce metrics to support management reporting and governance decisions.
  • Communicate security updates, promote policy compliance, and support security awareness efforts across internal teams.

Requirements

  • A demonstrable interest in cyber security, information security, or protective security
  • Working knowledge of IT networks, access management (IAM), and core security concepts (CIA triad, cloud, and endpoint security)
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, or Government Security Policy Frameworks
