About the Role
You are the central point of contact for payment clarification, with a direct line to Product and Finance, ensuring that payment processes run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the daily checking and allocation of payments (incoming payments, outgoing payments, and refunds) in a 100% digital process, ensuring smooth invoicing in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- You manage dunning and receivables management, including the debt collection portfolio, and clarify complex payment discrepancies directly with customers via email.
- You are the central point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding product improvements in payment transactions, and bring practical solutions back into the system.
- You act as the interface to the finance department, ensuring effective collaboration and information exchange.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in finance or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in accounting, ideally in accounts payable or accounts receivable.
- Practical experience with digital payment service providers.
- Accuracy and enjoyment of working with numbers, strong team spirit, and good communication skills.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken (C1 level).
- AI-savvy working method – you actively use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot in your daily work.
