About the Role
We are seeking a People Partner to join our People team and contribute to building the foundational elements for our next phase of growth. This role involves partnering with managers and leaders on team and people challenges, as well as developing and enhancing People practices to support our scaling efforts. You will work closely with the Head of Talent Experience, translating priorities into practical solutions and taking ownership of projects.
Responsibilities
- Partner with managers and leaders on performance, development, organization changes, and daily people matters.
- Support performance and talent management by assisting managers with setting expectations, providing feedback, addressing concerns, and making development decisions.
- Coach managers to enhance their leadership confidence and effectiveness, including navigating difficult conversations.
- Manage day-to-day employee relations matters, escalating complex or sensitive situations.
- Build and improve People practices through ownership of projects in areas like onboarding, performance, talent, manager capability, and engagement.
- Translate agreed-upon outcomes or approaches into practical execution, offering recommendations.
- Utilize data and feedback to understand organizational dynamics, identify trends, and improve work processes.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and People Operations for a cohesive employee experience.
- Actively contribute to detailed tasks, drafting initial documents, resolving issues, and taking on necessary tasks in a small, growing company.
Requirements
- HR Business Partner, People Partner, or strong HR generalist experience.
- Experience in a scale-up or fast-changing tech environment.
- Experience working directly with managers on various people matters.
- Solid foundation in performance management, employee relations, talent, and development.
- Experience building or improving People processes, programs, or ways of working.
- Comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously, knowing when to seek support.
- Curious and eager to learn, with an interest in broadening experience during company scaling.
- Practical approach and willingness to engage with detailed work.
- Ability to structure undefined areas without requiring a fully mapped-out plan.
- Clear, thoughtful communication with good judgment.
- Comfortable working in an evolving environment with changing priorities and processes.
