About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to manage daily tour planning for customer deliveries, ensuring alignment with sales and customer requirements. This role involves operational control and organization of timely deliveries, proactive communication with drivers, customers, and internal departments, and managing driver schedules, including vacation and time tracking. You will also be responsible for tour optimization and the strategic development of tours and planning systems. Additionally, there may be opportunities to temporarily cover the shift lead in the empty goods warehouse.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily tour planning for customer deliveries, considering sales and customer requirements.
Operationally manage and organize timely deliveries.
Proactively communicate with drivers, customers, and interface departments.
Manage deployment and vacation planning for truck drivers, and monitor their time tracking.
Optimize tours and strategically develop tours and tour planning/telematics systems.
Temporarily cover the shift lead in the empty goods warehouse.

Requirements

Completed training as a Kaufmann/-frau (m/f/d) for Spedition and Logistics Services or a comparable qualification.
Sound professional experience in logistics dispatch within a freight forwarding company, ideally in temperature-controlled transport.
Communication style appropriate for the audience, from truck drivers to management.
All-rounder mentality: pragmatic, hands-on, reliable, and service-oriented.
Very good local knowledge of Berlin and the surrounding area.
Ideally, qualification as a transport manager.
Confident use of ERP systems and telematics, as well as MS Office.
Fluent German language skills; Polish language skills are an advantage.
