About the Role
Inspire learning, build confidence, and change children’s lives by acting as a coach and mentor, supporting each learner’s progress with care and purpose. You will deliver tailored sessions using a smart learning tool, build meaningful relationships with a 1:6 ratio, and drive academic progress for children aged 4-16.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored sessions using the Compass learning tool, facilitating learning through questioning, scaffolding, and stretching.
- Build meaningful relationships with children in a 1:6 ratio, creating a safe and inspiring environment.
- Support members working through the national curriculum, entrance exams, and GCSE preparation.
- Inspire children to engage in learning using positive behaviour management strategies.
- Prioritize children's safety and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Must be age 16 or over.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Must have achieved a grade 6 or above in Maths & English Language at GCSE level or equivalent.
- Predicted GCSE grades are accepted if results will be received within the next 3 months.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required.
- Must provide a full employment history with all gaps clearly explained and evidenced.
- Satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS check are required.
- Must share commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

- 18-20: £10.90 per hour
- 21+: £12.75 per hour
- Additional 50p per hour for working within the M25
