About the Role
The Housekeeping Associate maintains a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment by cleaning floors, sanitizing restrooms, managing waste, and restocking supplies.
Responsibilities
- Using industrial cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums)
- Dusting shelves, displays, counters, and fixtures
- Adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe space for customers and staff
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floors (including industrial scrubbing) to remove dirt and debris
- Thoroughly disinfecting toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures
- Replenishing restroom supplies like soap and paper towels
- Emptying all trash cans and recycling bins, replacing liners and ensuring disposal in designated areas
- Cleaning up spills immediately
- Reporting maintenance issues to management
- Handling cleaning chemicals safely
- Washing windows and glass doors
- Cleaning breakrooms or staff lounges
Requirements
- Physical Stamina
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring all areas meet hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of Supplies: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently, often independently or after hours
