About the Role

As an Expansion Manager (m/w/d) Execution, you will focus on Eastern Germany, supporting the real estate department in creating, negotiating, and finalizing real estate contracts. You will manage transaction and implementation processes, develop new McDonald's restaurants, and oversee projects from development to completion in coordination with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Creation, negotiation, and finalization of real estate contracts (rental, purchase, hereditary building rights, and urban development contracts) in close collaboration with the Legal department.
• Management of key transaction and implementation processes, including purchase price payments, property acquisitions, and ensuring contractual agreements are met, in collaboration with internal departments.
• Responsibility for the development and implementation of new McDonald's restaurants in Germany, together with acquisition colleagues.
• Holistic project management throughout the entire development process, in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., authorities, brokers, notaries).
• Active utilization of your network in the real estate market and conducting negotiations with contractual partners and public authorities.

Requirements

• Completed real estate-specific training or a degree in real estate management.
• Several years of professional experience in the real estate industry, ideally in project development or expansion with a proven track record.
• Very good knowledge and experience in contract law and construction law.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• High degree of personal responsibility and willingness to travel.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Smartsheet, with a willingness to learn the company's proprietary software solution.
