About the Role
Change Grow Live is seeking a dedicated and passionate Healthcare Assistant to join their team at HMP Wandsworth. This role involves proactively assisting in the delivery of comprehensive interventions aimed at improving health and wellbeing for service users. The Healthcare Assistant will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, supporting specialist clinical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Nursing team to develop pathways to care.
- Support service users in opiate and alcohol interventions.
- Support on harm reduction interventions along with physical and mental health assessments.
- Keeping the people who use our services at the heart of everything you do.
Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a team.
- Experience of working within substance misuse or a social care setting would be an advantage but not essential.
- A clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services.
- Good organisational skills.
- Confidence to work on own initiative as well as part of the team.
- Communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Respond flexibly to the demands of the post.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level.

- Inner London Weighting: £4,236.47
