About the Role

This role involves supporting and leading engagements to deliver cyber risk assessments, improve security control maturity, define secure solutions, and ensure compliance for clients. You will analyze security technologies, collaborate with account teams, and identify new work opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of small to medium cyber security work-streams or engagements
  • Understanding business and information risk context of customers and judging risk at a technical and business process level
  • Reviewing effectiveness of security controls and proposing proportionate security improvements and mitigations
  • Analysing and researching security technologies to support the development of innovative solutions
  • Working and collaborating with account teams to identify new opportunities for work and support the production of quality proposals

Requirements

  • Ability to articulate and pitch security advice, often at a technical level, directly to key customer stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as both written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Can evaluate cyber security risk at the technical, system process and/or organisational level measuring the associated business impact using a structured approach
  • Can document and articulate to customer stakeholders how to manage cyber security risk utilising a structured approach based on industry framework
  • All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard
  • Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks
