About the Role
The Mobile Supporting Participation Service (MuT) supports adults with mental illnesses, intellectual and/or physical disabilities who live or wish to live independently in their own apartments or shared flats.
Responsibilities
- Assisting, accompanying, and supporting clients based on their resources, needs, and ideas.
- Motivating clients towards self-directed living.
- Advising and supporting clients in determining their support needs and applying for benefits from funding bodies.
- Creating care plans, documenting progress, and writing development reports.
- Developing, planning, and implementing open and individual leisure activities.
- Collaborating with other stakeholders such as clubs, self-help groups, and networks.
- Actively working within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Completed training as a Heilerziehungspfleger, Heilpädagoge (m/f/d) or equivalent vocational training according to § 4 SQV.
- At least 2 years of professional experience is desirable.
- Ability to interact empathetically and sensitively with people with disabilities and mental illnesses.
- Independent and flexible working style.
- Submission of an extended police clearance certificate and a valid health certificate.
- Applicable PC skills.
- Valid driver's license Class 3/B.
- Ability to drive minibuses.

Salary/Compensations
- Fair remuneration according to the employment contract guidelines of the Diakonisches Werk Berlin-Brandenburg-schlesische Oberlausitz
- Annual special payment (equivalent to one additional monthly salary)
