About the Role
Crown Sydney is seeking a Full-Time Recreation Attendant for a 6-month contract from September 2026 to April 2027. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of food and beverage service for guests and residents, providing poolside experiences, and maintaining a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming guests to the Crown Sydney Pool area and cabanas
- Supporting guest and resident experience across all recreation areas
- Taking guest orders and serving food and beverages across both upper and lower recreation areas
- Offering towels, sunscreen and other amenities to guests as required
- Providing information on the Crown Spa facilities, services and offerings across the property
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented environment for guests and other team members
Requirements
- Experience in a hosting or F&B service related or guest-facing role
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, between the hours of 7 am and 9 pm
- A current RSA or ability to obtain one prior to commencement
- Comfort working in the sun and summer weather conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attentiveness and ability to anticipate guest needs
- Commitment to 6-month contracts (September 2026 - April 2027)
- Availability for 38 hours per week across a rotating roster
