About the Role

Klarna's Financial Crime function protects the integrity of our payments ecosystem by preventing fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing. This role offers hands-on exposure to live, high-stakes cases from day one, working alongside experienced investigators to foster rapid career growth in investigative work.

Responsibilities

Support investigations into suspicious activity by gathering evidence, applying research techniques, and documenting findings.
Prepare accurate, well-organized reports and maintain detailed records for regulatory scrutiny.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the Fincrime domain and other internal teams.
Contribute to process improvements and help shape how the team identifies financial crime.

Requirements

Demonstrated impact in KYC, EDD, AML, fraud, compliance, or a law-enforcement investigative setting.
Naturally curious and detail-oriented with strong analytical instincts.
Genuine interest in investigative work and evolving financial crime typologies.
Ability to work accurately under deadlines and communicate respectfully.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Eager to learn, take feedback well, and grow quickly.
Self-starter who takes ownership.
Comfortable using open-source research (OSINT) techniques.
