About the Role
The CG Group is seeking a Sustainability and Compliance Officer to support the management in implementing and further developing measures in sustainability and compliance. This role involves analyzing requirements, preparing data and reports, handling organizational tasks, and assisting departments with inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the planning, organization, and follow-up of sustainability and compliance projects.
- Collecting, maintaining, evaluating, and preparing relevant ESG key figures and sustainability data.
- Supporting the creation of sustainability reporting and other internal and external reports.
- Participating in risk analyses, internal controls, and compliance audits.
- Researching and preparing regulatory requirements and supporting their implementation.
- Organizing and documenting meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Assisting departments with questions regarding sustainability and compliance topics.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Initial professional experience in sustainability, ESG, compliance, quality management, or a comparable field is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of relevant sustainability requirements, legal provisions, and common ESG standards.
- Ideally, experience in collecting, evaluating, and preparing key figures and data.
- Analytical, structured, and meticulous way of working.
- Strong organizational skills and enjoyment of collaboration with various departments.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Teamwork ability, initiative, and a reliable work ethic.

- The CG Group offers all real estate-related services across trades with around 200 employees in seven branches in Germany, from planning and development through construction to letting and management.
- The company realizes over 60 projects nationwide, with up to ten currently under construction.
- These include new construction projects focusing on digital planning and construction, as well as projects in the areas of renovation, revitalization, and conversion of existing buildings and brownfield industrial sites.
