About the Role
Anduril is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the Maneuver Dominance - Enabling Technology team in London. The Enabling Technology team builds shared capabilities for aerial robotic systems, and as the TPM, you will own capability areas end-to-end, from funding and development to transition into programmes.
Responsibilities
- Own a capability area end to end, covering charter, budget, scope, and roadmap, partnered with an Engineering Lead.
- Lead a cross-functional capability team of hardware, software, and systems engineers.
- Build and defend annual internal R&D (IRAD) submissions, shaping proposals, sizing efforts, and managing them through senior leadership review.
- Define and enforce exit criteria for each effort to ensure clean capability transitions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, programme stakeholders, and customers, and as the ET point of contact in the UK.
- Partner deeply with engineering leaders to drive execution, unblock technical challenges, and accelerate cross-team and cross-site projects.
- Develop a deep understanding of mission requirements and technical concepts to identify dependencies, trade-offs, and risks.
- Coordinate and execute frequent test events, from hardware-in-the-loop simulation through to ground test and live flight demonstration.
- Work jointly with US teams on a shared baseline while ensuring nationally controlled elements are developed and held in country.
- Plan and integrate across system boundaries, holding schedule and interface commitments.
- Proactively identify technical, programmatic, export control, and security risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive issues to resolution.
- Foster a culture of extreme ownership and a bias towards action within the team.
Requirements
- BEng/BSc/MEng in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience in engineering, systems integration, or technical programme management.
- Demonstrated experience owning programme management or engineering delivery for sophisticated hardware and software systems.
- Strong technical aptitude, able to read and interrogate technical designs, understand software development lifecycles, and form an independent view of technical risk.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering, environmental considerations, and requirements verification and validation, particularly for aerospace or defence applications.
- Demonstrated experience delivering engineering work under export control and security classification.
- Working knowledge of UK export control and security regimes, including the UK Military List, SPIRE and OGELs, F680, and the handling of classified and OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE material.
- Proven experience delivering complex solutions in highly regulated environments, for example UK MOD.
- Ability to inspire and guide teams, build consensus, and influence without direct authority.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance to a minimum of SC level.
