About the Role
MCA is seeking an experienced Remote CSC Administrator Technician to support our fast-growing Security division. This role involves performing remote system inspections and providing support for security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform remote system inspections of customers’ security systems in accordance with Service Level Agreement Contracts and security protocols.
- Update servers and supported workstations, including Windows, BIOS, Network Card, and iDrac updates.
- Perform firmware updates and credential management for cameras, switches, UPSs, routers, and access nodes.
- Update video or access control software, perform system database backups, and run camera retention reports.
- Communicate any downtime to customers prior to work performed.
- Communicate issues discovered during inspection to the Client Support Center (CSC) for troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with the local onsite service department if a technician is needed.
- Fill out an Inspection Report to be sent to the customer.
- Respond to client and internal service requests requiring advanced technical skills via email, telephone, or system-generated alerts.
- Troubleshoot servers, workstations, networks, and databases related to security solutions.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal operations teams.
- Manage client and internal help desk calls and emails related to service and support.
- Monitor and manage System Health alerts, create service tickets, troubleshoot root causes, and initiate remediation efforts.
- Coordinate with local support resources to resolve client issues.
- Provide technical support to field personnel during installation or service activities.
- Assist with the development and enhancement of support capabilities.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and information on company systems.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client and company information.
- Attend meetings with clients and the department.
Requirements
- 2+ years of related technical experience in similar roles or a commensurate combination of education and experience.
- Ability to pass mandatory drug tests.
- Ability to obtain a private security license.
