About the Role
The Wholesale Strategy team plays a pivotal role in shaping the direction of Nomura's Investment Banking division. This role involves working directly with senior management to establish the right strategy for reaching the firm's Investment Banking aspirations in a rapidly changing market environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic projects from ideation to execution.
- Act as a hands-on contributor delivering actionable insights and high-quality outputs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Manage internal stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
Requirements
- Senior Associate or Vice President level equivalent experience.
- Banking or Management Consulting experience preferred.
- Strong PowerPoint proficiency to develop presentations for senior management.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills, including ability to develop financial models and perform data analysis.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for confident interaction with senior management.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task efficiently.
- Problem-solving and project mode temperament.
- Interest in the wider Capital Markets and Investment Banking environment.
