About the Role
As a Senior Manager – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Insurance Practice Area, you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for the non-life insurance sector business. You will grow and deploy a team of sector/topic experts to support case work, content development and business build initiatives. You will drive the IP/content agenda, with support from the team, and lead execution of IP projects. You will be responsible for the team’s performance. Additionally, you will engage with case teams & clients based on your individual expertise and demonstrate differentiated impact and value-add to BCG clients and case teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver against client and commercial priorities for the non-life insurance sector business.
- Grow and deploy a team of sector/topic experts to support case work, content development and business build initiatives.
- Drive the IP/content agenda and lead execution of IP projects.
- Be responsible for the team’s performance.
- Engage with case teams & clients based on individual expertise.
- Demonstrate differentiated impact and value-add to BCG clients and case teams.
- Lead problem solving and solutioning for clients, driving pragmatic solutions tailored to the business context.
- Lead development and commercialization of knowledge and assets (e.g., tools, sector/topic materials) in US P&C, commercial insurance and reinsurance.
- Engage and communicate with senior stakeholders, demonstrating expert presence and credibility.
- Lead projects effectively, mobilizing teams to deliver on business priorities and commercial impact.
- Act as a coach and mentor, guiding team members to achieve goals efficiently and effectively.
- Work in an ever-changing and complex environment, comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years consulting experience in P&C, commercial insurance or reinsurance required; candidates with consulting experience preferred.
- In lieu of consulting experience, 7+ years minimum industry experience required; 10-12+ years of industry experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred).
- Deep expertise and experience in P&C, commercial insurance or reinsurance.
- Fluency in English.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and their practical applications, or a strong willingness to develop expertise in this area.

Salary/Compensations
- Base salary range: $152,300.00 - $156,700.00
- Bonus of up to 25%
- Retirement contribution starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years
