About the Role
Joko is seeking a Product Manager to lead the Catalog task force for Juno, our AI shopping assistant. This role is crucial for building the backbone of Juno, ensuring a comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date product catalog that enables seamless product comparisons and purchasing decisions for millions of users. You will own the universal product catalog end-to-end, working at the intersection of product, data, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Decide which merchants and products go into the catalog and in what order.
- Define, with engineers, how heterogeneous inputs become uniform, comparable product records.
- Own the strategy for keeping catalog data current at scale and the monitoring for ingestion pipeline issues.
- Automate catalog operations and plumbing to ensure coverage scales faster than headcount.
- Design the architecture for the catalog to grow into a genuinely multi-market one.
- Structure demand from various business lines, arbitrate, and go talk to merchants directly.
- Define catalog quality metrics (coverage, uniformity, freshness, quality) and drive the roadmap against them.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in product management or project management with genuine end-to-end ownership.
- Strong data orientation and fluency.
- Drawn to technical and data architecture, ingestion pipelines, and systems at scale.
- Comfortable with plumbing, edge cases, and unglamorous work, with an instinct to automate.
- Ability to navigate internal stakeholders and external partners, structure demands, arbitrate, and make trade-offs explicit.
- Impact-oriented and able to identify the core problem.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
