About the Role

Joko is seeking a Product Manager to lead the Engine task force, focusing on the end-to-end user experience of Juno, an AI shopping assistant. This role involves defining conversational product design, designing with AI limitations, conducting user testing, owning the roadmap, defining quality metrics, and establishing competitive positioning for a specialized shopping assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Define the end-to-end user experience of Juno, from conversational interface to product logic.
  • Define what a great shopping conversation looks like through testing and iteration.
  • Invent interaction patterns for a conversational AI surface.
  • Design for AI limitations such as hallucinations and unexpected outputs.
  • Define fallback strategies and manage model inputs.
  • Run continuous user tests and analyze real conversations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Own the rollout strategy and determine release schedules.
  • Define the vision and roadmap for the assistant experience.
  • Prioritize features based on company objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Own delivery from problem framing to launch.
  • Define quality metrics for the AI experience and use them to drive decisions.
  • Determine what makes a specialized shopping assistant competitive.

Requirements

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • Shipped user-facing features powered by AI on a product with a meaningful user base.
  • Experience with the challenges of putting AI models in front of real users.
  • Strong instincts on user experience and interface.
  • Experience designing AI features.
  • Comfortable defining, instrumenting, and evaluating metrics with data.
  • Hands-on and curious about AI tools and model behavior.
  • Desire to build something that does not exist yet.
  • Based in France or Spain.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to welcome feedback and continuously learn.
