About the Role
Join the excitement and become part of the team at Canary Riverside Plaza London, Vignette Collection by IHG, a landmark addition to the capital’s luxury lifestyle scene. This hotel is the brand's first property in London, set in the heart of Canary Wharf with stunning views across the River Thames. It features luxurious guestrooms, stylish dining spaces, meeting and events facilities, and access to a luxury health club, spa and pool.
Responsibilities
- Support the kitchen team in the preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes to ensure consistent standards of food quality and presentation.
- Take responsibility for a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared in line with recipes, specifications, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with stock control, rotation, and minimizing waste while maintaining a clean and organised workstation.
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
Requirements
- Must meet the legal requirements to work in the UK.
Skills
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role within a hotel or restaurant environment is advantageous.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for producing high-quality food.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- A positive, reliable, and team-focused approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen.
