About the Role
Marsh Risk is seeking a talented individual to join their Forensic Accounting & Claims Service team in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves managing client bases and providing advice on significant or problematic losses across various industry sectors, including claim investigation, quantification of loss, coverage issue resolution, and negotiation with insurers.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients to understand and quantify the loss incurred
- Prepare claims files for large loss submissions, ensuring all relevant loss considerations are included
- Work with clients, insurers, and loss adjusters to reach an agreeable settlement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma qualification in accounting
- 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting, audit, or professional services
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an enquiring mind and an interest in forensic accounting
- Willingness to learn, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
