About the Role
As an Omnichannel Solutions Product Manager, you will lead the translation of strategy into end-to-end implementation and launch activities. You will manage stakeholders across Product, Technology, and partner teams to ensure strategic decisions are translated into executable plans and successful solution launches. You will leverage deep knowledge of the European payments industry, particularly in omnichannel and card terminal landscapes, to define and own solution requirements and artifacts, ensuring customer insights are transformed into actionable product requirements for a scalable base solution. You will also shape and prioritize iteration paths to expand beyond the initial use case.
Responsibilities
- Translate strategic decisions into a delivery plan, launch approach, and cross-functional execution rhythm.
- Define and maintain end-to-end solution requirements and artifacts, including functional/non-functional requirements, experience expectations, and operational considerations across the merchant and internal journey.
- Define development requirements across the platform to bring the in-store solution to life by mapping needs to platform capabilities, in-flight capabilities, and future prioritized needs.
- Partner with Technology and platform stakeholders to agree scope, sequencing, dependencies, resourcing, and delivery milestones; proactively manage risks, tradeoffs, and decisions.
- Own stakeholder communication and alignment across a highly matrixed organization; establish operating cadence, decision forums, and documentation.
- Lead configuration and modification of the firm’s products and solutions, often in partnership with Technology, to fit complex client use cases.
- Identify and define development requirements for product design enhancements based on customer feedback and platform opportunities.
- Translate customer needs into product requirements, synthesizing insights into clear, actionable requirements and collaborating with product and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Significant experience in payments with an understanding of physical and digital merchant payment ecosystems, including payment gateways and integration best practices.
- Strong knowledge of the European payments market and requirements for creating, selling, and launching in-store / omnichannel solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to apply deep technical understanding to solution configurations in a specific domain and to quickly learn platform capabilities, constraints, and delivery dependencies.
- Proven ability to bridge strategy and execution—translating decisions into scoped roadmaps, delivery plans, and launch outcomes.
- Experience working with clients and ecosystem partners in a technology field and interfacing with engineers.
- Demonstrated thought leadership in omnichannel payments, with a track record of influencing strategy and driving innovation.
