About the Role

Network Planning Engineer will provide professional planning resource to support Metro CE, Regional CE planning, NGTT decommission, capacity forecasting, power and rack planning, lifecycle management, network audit and migration programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Metro and Regional CE planning, engineering plan release and capacity management.
  • Capacity forecasting, utilisation monitoring and augmentation planning.
  • Power, rack space and infrastructure readiness planning.
  • Lifecycle management, EOL/EOS assessment and refresh planning.
  • Network migration planning, dependency project planning and release coordination.
  • Carrier Ethernet and legacy decommission planning.
  • Audit, inventory validation and owner interlock for decommission readiness and sign-off.
  • Planning database, tracker and governance reporting maintenance.

Requirements

  • 4-6 Years of Experience planning release support for Metro and Regional CE network projects, including engineering order included Scope of work detail planning.
  • Capacity forecasting, utilisation reporting, augmentation planning, and power/rack infrastructure management.
  • Audit, lifecycle management, and decommission support for legacy network platforms.
  • Migration planning, link platform audit and data analysis, dependency planning, and stakeholder interlock with Platform Owners.
  • Governance, reporting, database/tracker maintenance, material management support, and ad-hoc planning activities.
