About the Role
The Service Manager will manage service delivery to service providers, enterprise customers, and service support partners, collaborating with global and APAC service teams to maintain high customer satisfaction and maximize HPE business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver support services to maximize customer business outcomes and service satisfaction.
- Manage account strategies with stakeholder management, including sales account teams, client management teams, customers, and service support partners.
- Ensure customer expectations are met by delivering high-quality, timely services.
- Promote and sell HPE solutions.
- Support account team strategies and maximize contract renewals by delivering effective, quality-focused HPE services.
- Ensure alignment of customer and HPE business operational processes.
- Create and document project plans to achieve contracted delivery.
- Execute cross-departmental activities.
- Leverage and coordinate resources to achieve service delivery objectives.
- Monitor project results against goals and create action plans for any shortcomings.
- Assist with contract scope, definition, and execution.
- Monitor and report on service revenue and costs to maintain account profitability.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of program management experience with a proven track record in the service provider/enterprise market.
- Over 3 years of networking industry experience covering technical support, operations, operational management, and service management.
- Strong service business or program management experience with other manufacturers or large partners is essential.
- Excellent customer management and relationship skills gained from experience in an IP market support environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- Building relationships between vendors, partners, and customers is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience dealing directly with multiple levels and disciplines within the customer environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to operate independently, including managing priorities in an unstructured environment.
- Engineering degree qualification or equivalent experience.
